As of March 2025, India hosts over 2,900 global capability centers (GCC) units, contributing USD 64.6 billion in revenue and employing 1.9 million professionals. During Q1 2025, activity remained strong with a growing focus on AI, cloud, and non-tech functions. Tier-2 cities are emerging as new hotspots, supported by state-level GCC policies. Sectors such as manufacturing, pharma, and IT are leading expansions. Events in April highlighted GenAI and innovation, with more insights expected from upcoming May summits.
