The client, a leading multinational technology company, wanted to understand if India can develop itself into a Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) manufacturing and export hub. For this, it sought Benori’s support to:

• Create a detailed report to analyze the current market landscape of the PCBA manufacturing globally and in India 
• Generate insights for stakeholders on how to develop an ecosystem for manufacturing PCBA in India and increase export opportunities

Approach:

We conducted extensive secondary research to assess the global and Indian PCBA market. We identified industry challenges and evaluated India’s export potential for PCBA. We worked towards understanding the government’s role in fostering the industry. We conducted primary interviews with industry experts and Indian PCBA contract manufacturers to understand the potential opportunity and their willingness to expand capacity and increase exports.
