The client, a global advisory firm, was supporting a public works authority in the Middle East and was looking into the state of digital transformation (DT) in the public works sector. It wanted to help the authority develop a DT strategy and implement technology solutions, and sought Benori’s support to:

• Analyze DT case studies from global and regional counterparts
• Prepare a call to action for public works departments (PWDs) to implement DT effectively

Our approach was to analyze digital transformation initiatives and case studies from regions across the world, detailing challenges, approaches, outcomes, and best practices for civil amenities and public works. We identified digital and non-digital trends driving transformation in the public works sector, key challenges faced by PWDs, and actionable recommendations for overcoming these barriers.
